Oct. 21 10:00-5:00 Mattress Sale!!!!! We’ll have a sign-up for those that would like to wear the mattress costumes in shifts throughout the day. You don’t have to be here unless you’re doing that, but you should pass out brochures before today so you’ll get credit for sales!
5:00-7:00 The first “probably annual” HHS Band Chili Cook Off!!! Entry fee: $10; if you want to come and eat: $7 (includes chili, cornbread, slaw, bottled water); prizes given in several categories! So you think yours is the best? Let our illustrious panel of judges decide!
Oct. 23 Mid-state registration $ due at HHS (forms and info available after break)
Oct. 24 during classes and immediately after school (for 8th grade marchers): Composite Pictures made; ordering information will be given out at school after break.
Oct. 26 3:15-4:30 Marching Band rehearsal (for Hunters Lane “Battle of Bands” and Veterans Parade)
Oct. 27 Mt. Juliet (HOME); Senior Night (info sent from school based on what YOUR STUDENT gives the main office; if parents don’t receive anything…ask your student why).
5:45 Arrive, dress
6:15 March in; seniors leave block to get with parents; back in form after ceremony
7:00 Game begins
